Skjolden, Norway
Skjolden, with its dramatic fjord and crisp mountain air, is as breathtaking as ever. Yet, as the Balmoral docks, I find myself doing what I always do — aiming my camera from the same spot, capturing the same stunning view.
This ritual has become a comforting constant in a life that’s anything but still. While some crew venture out to explore the charming village or hike nearby, I prefer to soak it all in from deck — same frame, fresh memories.
And who knows where we’ll be next? Whatever port awaits, I’ll probably snap photos from familiar angles, keeping the tradition alive.
