Qatar Airways Starlink Wi-Fi: Fast Internet at 35,000 Ft

I’m literally writing this blog right now midair, on a Qatar Airways flight from London to Doha aboard their B777-300ER — and I have to say, I’m absolutely blown away.

Airplane Wi-Fi has never impressed me much in the past. Usually, it’s just enough to check emails or send a quick message if you’re patient. But this time? Totally different story.

Qatar Airways has been fitting their B777 fleet with Starlink-powered internet, and now they’ve started rolling it out to their A350s as well. That means more and more passengers will soon get to enjoy this insane connectivity across the airline’s long-haul network.

I’ve been streaming, uploading, browsing — everything just works seamlessly. No buffering, no lag, nothing that screams “airplane internet.” Honestly, it feels faster than what I sometimes get at home.
