Åndalsnes greets us with its towering mountains and stunning fjord views — truly a nature lover’s paradise. Yet, here I am, Second Officer on Balmoral, capturing the same familiar shots from the deck.
The scenery is breathtaking, but my camera and I have a tradition: snap the views from the same angles every time. It’s a small ritual that keeps me grounded amid all the ports and voyages.
As always, some crew venture off to explore cafés or hiking trails, but I prefer to enjoy the mountains from the comfort of the ship. No need to move when the view is this good.
