It’s not that Kristiansund isn’t beautiful — it really is. The waterfront, the colorful houses, the calm waters… they all paint a postcard-perfect scene. But for some reason, I’ve never found the motivation to step off the gangway.
I do have countless photos, though. The funny part? Every single one looks exactly like the others — same angle, same framing, same everything. And there’s a perfectly good explanation for that: the ship always docks at the exact same spot, Storkaia Quay 7.
And here’s the truth: Kristiansund only has one berth for cruise ships. So, every visit, without fail, we get the same front-row view — no variation, no surprises.
NEXT STOP: Tomorrow, we’ll be in Åndalsnes, another beautiful port. The day after that, Olden — of course, a scenic one. Then comes Skjolden, as always, a stunning spot. Let’s see if I’ll have the motivation to share a blog update for those visits. All I know is, I’ll probably be taking photos from the exact same angles there too. 🙂

Some crew head out to explore, chase new coffee spots, or snap fresh photos from land. Me? I’m happy to admire the scenery from my familiar vantage point on deck. I guess this is my little tradition now — same ship, same quay, same picture… just another day in port.
